Mattress Hygiene Licence (MHL)

The Hygeiasleep Mattress Hygiene Licence (MHL) is a comprehensive, accredited training program designed to equip housekeeping professionals and property owners with the essential knowledge and practical tools to implement industry-leading mattress hygiene standards. Developed in consultation with the HygeiaSleep Standards Advisory Council, this course ensures that establishments understand the science, procedures, and impact of mattress hygiene — protecting guests, improving hotel reputation, and aligning with global cleanliness expectations. Upon successful completion, learners receive a HygeiaSleep Certificate in Mattress Hygiene, valid for 12 months, and their hotel qualifies for inclusion in the HygeiaSleep Assurance Program.
